And this is why you get paid the big bucks. So when one of your staff fucks up slightly you fix it in a professional manner. You don’t tell me that I’m being nasty and that I can do whatever the fuck I want. Don’t dismiss me. And don’t talk down to me. I did not get defensive or make excuses. I’m not staying 1 1/2 hours past my early shift to make a lousy $15. Yes you are working 12 days in a row, but I’m tired too. And you signed up for that when you signed to become a GM.

I was happy in my harbor when you cut me loose. Floating on an ocean and confused. Winds are whipping waves up like sky-scrapers and the harder they hit me the less I seem to bruise. And when I find the controls I’ll go where I like. I’ll know where I want to be but maybe for now I’ll stay right here on a silent sea.
